What is it: Adult fantasy trilogy with a strong Celtic vibe reminiscent of Stephen Lawhead’s style
The story: A harpist is forced to flee to a warrior brotherhood for refuge and become caught up in a war for his country.
What I loved about the series: The Celtic vibe, rich world building and complex characters, how the magic system (supernatural elements) is handled, the spiritual threads woven throughout, the reminder of the care needed when interpreting prophesy.
