Jeffrey Overstreet offers the adult reader a literary-styled fantasy. If you enjoy beautifully written prose and symbolism and such, these books are right up your line. I will admit, I didn't care for Auralia's Colors when I first read the book, but now I realized that was largely due to a misconception about the books when I started reading them. Now I have come to appreciate the quality of the stories, and their beautiful literary quality landed these books on my tables.
