The series: Thorndike and Swann Regency Mysteries by Erica Vetsch (The Debutante’s Code, Millstone of Doubt, and Children of the Shadows)   What it is: Adult regency mystery trilogy with a very strong romantic subplot The story: A high-society debutante and a Bow Street runner work together to solve crimes in Regency London.   What I loved: Historically set mysteries, a single romance arching over three books, cameos by characters from earlier series, the touch of espionage, the happily-ever-after ending
