Welcome to the June Christian Science-Fiction and Fantasy (CSFF) blog tour!
Each month a bunch of us bloggers get together and write about a Christian novel that falls somewhere in the speculative genre (the science-fiction, fantasy, and everything-weird genre), sort of like an electronic bookclub. Except we may or may not be listening to what everyone else is trying to insert into the conversation. So we can become pretty noisy.
But like in a bookclub, some of us will like the selection. Some of us won't care much for it. And each of us will bring something different to the table to chew on. Essays on a topic covered in the book. General opinion pieces. Author interviews. Reviews. But opinions will many and varied.
This month we are doing an adult satire called Imaginary Jesus by Matt Mikalatos. Yeah. I know. I reacted the same way when I saw the title on the schedule. And though this tour specializes in the strange, this is even a little bit beyond even our normal.
However, I encourage you to stick around, investigate some. You'll probably discover some interesting and thought-provoking reading. Meanwhile, I will continue work through my own opinions, in hopes of creating a review worth glancing through and perhaps a follow-up post. We'll just have to wait and see.
