What is it: An adult thriller novel (espionage, standalone) which blends Jason Bourne or Burn Notice and the biblical book of Job.
The story: A spy is shut out by his own organization without explanation, sending him on the run from friend and foe alike while trying stop a terrorist’s deadly plan.
What I loved about the book: The high-octane, keep-the-pages-turning suspense, and though God is never mentioned in the story, the parallel to Job provides rich spiritual truth and challenging questions to mull long after you finish the story.
