John Otte's books are stories for the Christian Geek, both teen and adults. In his books, imaginative premises (a reality t.v. show for superheroes, a "church" sanctioned assassin who feels nothing, a teenage pregnant cyborg) combine with fabulously created worlds, strong plots, geeky characters, and a great strand of humor.I have many reasons for including John Otte's books on my table, but I think the most predominate reason is his creative premises. They appeal to a segment of readers that few other Christian books do, while being accessible and entertaining enough to reach a larger group.
