The Praise of Scripture: To the God of Creation

In celebration of Thanksgiving week here in the U.S...

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the Creator of the ends of the earth.

For by Him all things were created:
         The visible, the invisible
         The great, the small
The birds of the air, the fish of the sea
The beasts of the field, the ones who creep along the ground
Man and woman, created in His image.
All things were created by Him and for Him.

Therefore let all things that have breath praise the Lord!
Let all exalt the name of the LORD!
For if we keep quiet, the very rocks will cry out.

So declare His glory, heavens!
Tremble before Him, earth!
Resound, sea!
Sing, mountains, and burst into song, hills!

Be jubilant, fields!
Rejoice, meadows!
Clap your hands, O rivers!
Clap your hands, trees, and sing for joy, forest!

Extol, Jerusalem!
Shout, you angels!
Exalt Him, you peoples!
Praise Him with dance and music and a joyful noise!

Let all His people kneel before the LORD our Maker!
