The Uniqueness of Blossoming

It’s springtime, and here in Minnesota, the trees are just leafing out. This year I couldn’t help noticing all the different ways they do so:

Some trees start with leaves. Some start with flowers. Some start with neither.

Some trees have feathers. Others dress in ruffles.

Some leaves droop in clusters. Others shoot up like flames.

Some trees are always green. Some start off other colors than green.

Some even hide packages that won’t be noticed until later.

But whether earlier bloomers or late bloomers, bright green or dark green or not green at all, the result is a feast for the eye.

And think—we blossom as humans in ways just as unique.
